- **Funding model:** Community-funded. Users share a personal Discord invite link; each person who joins and passes anti-abuse checks becomes a "verified invite". Verified invites are spent to claim server resources.

Invites are deducted from the user's balance when a plan is claimed. If an invited member leaves the Discord, that verified invite is removed from the balance. Each Discord account can only count once, and alt accounts, bots and VPN abuse are rejected.

- FlameHost never asks users for their Minecraft account password, and never requires software downloads to unlock a server. Any service claiming otherwise while using the FlameHost name is not FlameHost.
- Free plans do not carry uptime guarantees. Users are advised to keep their own world backups.
- Users with nobody to invite cannot claim a server. In that situation FlameHost's own guidance recommends self-hosting on spare hardware instead.
