Terms of Service

Welcome to FlameHost. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FlameHost services, websites, billing panel, support system, and related products.

By creating an account, placing an order, using our services, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use FlameHost services.

1. About FlameHost

FlameHost provides Minecraft game server hosting services through our website and billing platform.

FlameHost is currently operated as an independent hosting brand and is not yet registered as a proprietorship, private limited company, or other legal business entity.

FlameHost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or Minecraft. Minecraft is a trademark of its respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services from FlameHost. If you are under 18, you may use our services only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

By using FlameHost, you confirm that:

  • You are legally able to enter into this agreement.
  • The information you provide is accurate.
  • You will keep your account credentials secure.
  • You will follow all applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Accounts

To use FlameHost services, you may need to create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details secure.
  • All activity under your account.
  • Maintaining a valid email address.
  • Verifying your email address when required.
  • Contacting us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or restrict accounts if we detect fraud, abuse, security risk, policy violations, or suspicious activity.

4. Services Provided

FlameHost currently provides Minecraft server hosting and related support services.

Services may include:

  • Minecraft server hosting
  • Game server setup
  • Server management through a control panel
  • Billing and invoice management
  • Support ticket assistance
  • Service upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and renewals

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time where reasonably necessary.

5. Orders and Provisioning

After successful payment, eligible services are automatically provisioned where possible.

Provisioning may be delayed due to:

  • Payment verification
  • Stock or node availability
  • Technical issues
  • Anti-fraud checks
  • Incorrect account information
  • Upstream infrastructure issues

We aim to provision services quickly, but instant setup is not guaranteed in all cases.

6. Payments

All prices are shown in the currency selected by the customer where available.

Supported currencies may include:

  • INR
  • USD

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Polar or other providers we may add later.

We do not store any card details on our servers.

You agree to pay all charges shown at checkout, including applicable taxes, fees, and service charges.

7. Invoices

Invoices are generated for purchases, renewals, upgrades, and other billable actions.

Customers can view and download invoices from the billing panel.

Invoice statuses may include:

  • Unpaid
  • Paid
  • Cancelled
  • Refunded
  • Partially refunded
  • Failed
  • Expired

Existing invoices are not automatically changed if plan prices are updated later.

8. Renewals

Services renew according to the selected billing cycle.

Renewal invoices are generated before the service due date.

Current renewal behavior:

  • Renewal invoice is generated before the due date.
  • Reminder emails may be sent before suspension.
  • If the invoice is not paid by the due date, the service may be suspended shortly after the due date.
  • Suspension usually occurs within 0 to 1 hour after the due date, depending on scheduler timing.
  • If the invoice remains unpaid for 6 days after suspension, the service may be terminated.
  • Termination may occur around 6 days after suspension plus the next scheduled termination run.

Once terminated, data may be deleted and service restoration is not guaranteed.

9. Suspension

A service may be suspended for reasons including:

  • Unpaid renewal invoice
  • Payment failure
  • Chargeback or refund
  • Abuse report
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Security risk
  • Resource abuse
  • Illegal or harmful activity

While suspended, access to the service may be restricted.

10. Termination

A service may be terminated if:

  • It remains unpaid after the suspension period.
  • It is refunded.
  • It is cancelled at the end of the billing period.
  • It violates our policies.
  • It is used for abuse or illegal activity.

After termination, server data may be deleted immediately or at any time without further notice. Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups.

11. Service Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of eligible services from the billing panel.

Cancellation rules:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the next due date.
  • The service remains active until the end of the current paid period.
  • Cancellation can be undone before it takes effect.
  • No refund or credit is provided for unused time unless approved under our Refund Policy.
  • Once cancelled or terminated, service data may be deleted.

12. Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades

Upgrades apply instantly after successful payment.

Upgrade invoices:

  • Are generated for the remaining-period price difference.
  • Expire after 60 minutes if unpaid.
  • Can be cancelled before payment.
  • Do not extend the service due date.

After payment, the service resources are updated according to the new plan.

Downgrades

Downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal.

Downgrade rules:

  • Downgrades do not apply instantly.
  • Downgrades do not provide refunds or credits for the current period.
  • The current plan remains active until the next renewal.
  • The next renewal invoice uses the downgraded plan price.
  • The downgrade applies after the renewal invoice is paid.

13. Backups and Data

Unless specifically stated in a plan, FlameHost does not guarantee backups.

Customers are responsible for keeping their own backups of important files, worlds, plugins, configuration, and server data.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by:

  • User error
  • Plugin/mod issues
  • Server misconfiguration
  • Non-payment
  • Service termination
  • Abuse suspension
  • Hardware/provider failure
  • Software corruption
  • Force majeure events

14. Acceptable Use

You must not use FlameHost services for:

  • Illegal activity
  • DDoS attacks
  • Botnets
  • Port scanning or network abuse
  • Malware
  • Phishing
  • Spam
  • Crypto mining
  • Resource abuse
  • Attempting to bypass service limits
  • Hosting or distributing harmful files
  • Attacking other servers or networks
  • Running malicious Minecraft plugins/mods
  • Any activity that disrupts FlameHost, other customers, or third parties

You are responsible for all content, plugins, mods, files, and activity on your server.

We may suspend or terminate services without refund if we believe a service is being used abusively or unlawfully.

15. Copyright and Third-Party Rights

You are responsible for ensuring that any content, files, plugins, mods, or materials uploaded to your service do not violate third-party rights.

We may remove or restrict content or services if required by law, abuse reports, provider requirements, or valid complaints.

16. Support

Support is provided through the FlameHost ticket system or official support email.

We aim to respond within 24–48 hours, but response times are not guaranteed.

Support may be limited for:

  • Third-party plugins
  • Third-party mods
  • Custom server configurations
  • User-created errors
  • Unsupported software
  • Issues caused by customer actions

17. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service, but uptime is not guaranteed except as stated in our Service Level Agreement.

Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, emergency repairs, attacks, upstream outages, software failures, or other events outside our control.

18. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

In general:

  • Refunds are limited.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed.
  • Refund approval is at FlameHost’s discretion.
  • Refunded services may be terminated immediately.

19. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you open a chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal without first contacting support, we may:

  • Suspend your account
  • Suspend related services
  • Terminate related services
  • Block future orders
  • Recover dispute-related fees where allowed

Please contact support before opening a dispute.

20. Changes to Services or Pricing

We may change plan pricing, resource allocations, features, or service availability.

Price changes affect:

  • New orders
  • New invoices
  • Future renewal invoices

Price changes do not modify already-paid invoices or already-generated invoices.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, FlameHost is not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of revenue
  • Loss of profits
  • Business interruption
  • Plugin/mod failure
  • Minecraft server issues caused by configuration
  • Third-party provider outages
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our maximum liability, where legally applicable, is limited to the amount paid by you for the affected service during the relevant billing period.

22. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold FlameHost harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your uploaded content
  • Your server activity
  • Your breach of law or third-party rights

23. Account Closure

You may request account closure by contacting support.

We may retain certain records such as invoices, payments, security logs, and support history where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, or business purposes.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are significant, we may notify users through the website, billing panel, or email.

Continued use of FlameHost after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

Any disputes should first be raised through FlameHost support.
